Tomorrow: Haters Valentine's Day Party

All month long we've been talking about how to celebrate your single status on Valentine's Day. First with beautiful and hilarious cards from Posh + Prep, then with a gift guide for all the single ladies, and yesterday with fierce looks for Galentine's Day.

Dining Out: Thirst Juice Co.

This weekend I returned to Downtown Crossing for the first time since leaving my job in that neighborhood in December. I made my way down Tremont Street (still sprinkled with blue and red confetti from the Patriots victory parade) and turned onto School Street. Just beyond the Omni Parker House hotel, at the corner of School Street and Province Street, there's a new kid on the block, Thirst Juice Co.

Dining Out: 5 Napkin Burger

Last week, I was invited to attend a media preview for the new menu at 5 Napkin Burger. Though I have walked and driven by the restaurant countless times since it opened in 2011, I'd never been in! So this new menu, as well as the old menu, were both completely new to me.

After work, I jumped on the T and headed to the Prudential stop. When you pop out of the train, the restaurant is just across the street.

Dining Out: El Picoteo

I have been so excited to share this post with you that I waited over two weeks to publish it to ensure I had enough time to write a review worthy of the special experience.

For New Years Eve, two friends and I traveled to Puerto Rico. For four days we stayed at the Caribe Hilton (which I highly recommend), which is just minutes away from Old San Juan.

Dining Out: Flour Bakery & Cafe

Today's post is going to be the last of 2014. For the final post of the year, it seemed only right to share with you something that has been on my Boston bucket list for years.

Dining Out: Zak The Baker

For the past week I've been in Miami visiting my family. It has felt like school vacation - never knowing what day it is and waking up each morning with excitement wondering, "What are we going to do today?"

Yesterday, me, my parents and our family friends hopped in the car and headed to a super funky neighborhood called Wynwood. The area is best known for it's graffiti covered buildings. The works are mostly commissioned, but there is plenty of old school tagging as well.

Dining Out: Momi Ramen

Merry Christmas!

In yesterday's post I shared with you my family's annual Christmas tradition of going to the movies and eating Chinese food. This year, we decided to switch it up a bit and instead of going to our usual Chinese spot, we ventured to a ramen restaurant instead.

Momi Ramen is located in Miami's Mary Brickell Village. It's a small space that seats maybe 25 people at most.

Dining Out: Besito

It's no secret that trying new restaurants is my favorite pastime. Earlier this year when the Mexican restaurant Besito opened in Burlington, MA I was intrigued, but unwilling to drive 35-40 minutes north on the highway after work. So imagine my surprise and delight to learn Besito had opened a second location in the Chestnut Hill Mall.

Dining Out: 75 On Liberty Wharf

Last month I was out to dinner with my college roommate and her husband and they mentioned how much they love dining at 75 On Liberty Wharf in the Seaport. I responded by admitting, "I've actually never been there." When it came time to plan our monthly dinner date for December, it seemed only right to enjoy a meal there together.

The night we met up it was dark, cold and rainy. I felt like I was in Gotham City.

Despite the dreary weather, 75 On Liberty Wharf glowed from the warmth and spirit of their holiday decorations.

Dining Out: Lido Restaurant & Bayside Grill

Guys, I have to admit something to you. My parents are cooler than me.

While I was in home in Miami over the Thanksgiving break, my parents were so thrilled we would have time to enjoy some of their favorite places together. Normally I am only in town Friday night through Sunday afternoon (barely two days) and those days are spent at family celebrations - holidays, birthdays, baby showers, etc. This trip, I was home Thanksgiving day, plus three bonus days.
