Dining Out: By Chloe

Each time I visit Los Angeles or New York I find myself green with envy over the number of vegetarian and vegan restaurants. While Boston has some veg-centric standouts - Veggie Galaxy, Red Lentil, Wild Rice Cafe - we simply don't have the vast selection of those larger cities.

Dining Out: Juliet

I have been wanting to dine at Juliet in Union Square since it opened in February of last year. The editor of Eater Boston, Rachel Blumenthal, lives close by and is always posting the most gorgeous, mouth-watering photos on Instagram, which are a constant reminder that I need to get myself there!

Dining Out: The Automatic

I started working in Kendall Square in Cambridge in January 2015 and since then I've had a great time exploring all of the new bars and restaurants that have popped up in the neighborhood. Last week I went with two co-workers to The Automatic, which is co-owned by veteran Boston bartender David Cagle and former East Coast Grill owner Chris Schlesinger.

Sugar Fix: EHChocolatier Passover Collection

Passover is coming up quickly, with the first seder on the evening of Monday, April 10, 2017. I am particularly excited for the holiday this year because I will be flying to Miami, FL to sit around the dining room table with family (and slurp down bowls of my Dad's matzah ball soup!).

Dining Out: Mon Ami Gabi

In my previous job I used to travel to Las Vegas every winter for a client's annual conference in Las Vegas. Each year the leadership team would have breakfast at Mon Ami Gabi at the Paris Hotel and Casino and return to the convention center raving about their meal. I had always wanted to try it, but never had time until my most recent trip.

Dining Out: Olives at Bellagio

For our final night of our Las Vegas trip, we knew we wanted to dine somewhere special. I suggested chef Todd English's Olives at Bellagio because I had been there before (so I knew the food was great) and I thought we could watch the Bellagio fountain either coming or going.

Dining Out: Herringbone at Aria

There are few things in this world I love as much as brunch. On my second morning in Las Vegas, drunk on happiness and teenage dreams realized (at the Backstreet Boys concert the night before), my travel buddy and I were in search of an extra special place to dine. When we were at the hotel pool the day before I noticed that one of the restaurants has outdoor seating and overlooks the pool deck. Since it was a gorgeous day, I suggested we claim chairs at the pool and check it out.

Dining Out: China Poblano at The Cosmopolitan

China Poblano is one of my favorite restaurants in Las Vegas. I have dined there many times, but always with clients, which isn't exactly the most appropriate setting to say, "Hey, can you not touch your food until I take a picture of it?" I am so happy I was able to return with a friend so I can share all of this deliciousness with you!

Dining Out: Eggslut at The Cosmopolitan

One of the best parts of staying at Aria in Las Vegas was its proximity to The Cosmopolitan. From the Aria lobby you walk through the Crystal Shops (a luxury mall with Prada, Pucci, Valentino and more), over a short pedestrian bridge and voila! You've reached the Cosmo.

Dining Out: Bardot Brasserie at Aria

I have just returned from a long weekend in Sin City. Las Vegas is one of my favorite vacation destinations. In general, I love that absolutely everything there is so over the top. More specifically, I keep going back because it is sunny 365 days of the year, every hotel has a beautiful pool, the best chefs in the world seek out these hotels for their restaurants and whatever your interest is, there is an entertainment option for you (concert, comedy performance, Cirque du Soleil show). And did I mention the luxury shopping malls?

Sugar Fix: Koko Bakery

One of my 2017 New Year's resolutions is to up my breakfast game. While I feel pretty confident I have the brunch scene mastered, there are so many great, local places that make killer breakfasts that I have yet to explore.

Dining Out: Frenchie

In my early twenties I spent a lot of time in the South End (thanks to a love interest with an apartment in that neighborhood). I have always been enchanted by the brownstones, the iron railings, the stunning window boxes, the community gardens and parks, and of course, the parade of adorable dogs.
