This week's episode of 90210 had all kinds of interesting plot twists! Where to begin?
First with a gripe. Ivy was wearing a hot pink, tiny bikini in the opening scene. As if! Ivy would never dress like that.
Brandy is back again! For some reason I thought she was a one time guest star. Apparently not. I hate that she is suggesting Silver kick Navid to the curb.
Speaking of Navid, first he turns himself in to keep Silver out of harm's way, then he agrees to help the cops build a case against his uncle from the inside. Oh boy. Here we go.
Tonight's episode of Gossip Girl was a complete snoozefest. We knew everyone would be upset by what Dan wrote about them in his book. I was hoping for an unexpected, dramatic twist, but nothing. I did however feel very sad for Rufus.
I read on Twitter this morning that Debbie Allen would be guest starring on tonight's episode of Grey's Anatomy as Jackson's mother. I was thrilled! Though I know she has a long history as a performer, I fell in love with her as a judge on So You Think You Can Dance. There is something very regal about Debbie, though she also maintains a serious diva swag.
Debbie did not disappoint me! In fact, for me, she was the star of this episode. As Katherine Avery she was the ultimate alpha dog. She was confident, brave, bold and unapologetic. I love love loved it!
This week's episode of 90210 opened with a very racy dream! Poor Naomi. So hard to wake up after a fantasy like that.
From dreams to harsh realities, Jim reveals himself! Then the writers deliver this amazing dialogue: Jim enters and Jane says, "Jim!" and Liam follows with, "You're alive." Wow, really profound. Anyone else think it was weird that Jim and Jane were just walking, arms around each other on the beach? Back from the dead, back to normal. Yeah, sure, of course.
Tonight's episode of Gossip Girl had me laughing right out of the gate. First Blair threatens Dorota, "Hang or up I'll tell the reporter you're undocumented!" Followed by Dan trying to win over Chuck with a dog, "You felt nothing after 'Field of Dreams', so I'm taking it to the next level."
Tonight's episode of Grey's Anatomy was narrated by the men, which shock of shocks, I loved. For me, the outstanding performance of the night goes to Dr. Webber. Not only was he taking gentle care of his deteriorating wife, but he lent a hand to all the residents and attendings. When he asked the scrub nurse if she still had his playlist, I just about died of laughter. I was equally amused when he screamed at Karev, "Those grapes are not for snacking!"
This week's episode of 90210 focused around the Greek games and Naomi's quest to become president of the Greek council.
This week on Gossip Girl, Blair's pregnancy cover is blown. Now Dorota, Dan and Louis' sister are all in on the secret.
Speaking of Louis' sister, she put on quite a performance this episode! I can't believe she's hooking up with the priest! I am eager to see how she tries to dethrone Louis.
I am totally over the Diana (Elizabeth Hurley)/Nate story line. I'm just not buying it.
