This week's episode of 90210 had all kinds of interesting plot twists! Where to begin?
First with a gripe. Ivy was wearing a hot pink, tiny bikini in the opening scene. As if! Ivy would never dress like that.
Brandy is back again! For some reason I thought she was a one time guest star. Apparently not. I hate that she is suggesting Silver kick Navid to the curb.
Speaking of Navid, first he turns himself in to keep Silver out of harm's way, then he agrees to help the cops build a case against his uncle from the inside. Oh boy. Here we go.
Next up we have Annie. After a horrible morning of car trouble (holy can I relate) she finds herself on a date with an older man, Patrick. For their second date he takes her on a helicopter ride and to a museum closed down just for them while they drink wine on a picnic blanket in front of the paintings. What is this, an episode of The Bachelor? When Annie goes to visit Patrick at his hotel after their second date she says, "I really like you and I want to be with you." Really, Annie? After two dates? Get real.
Soon after, Patrick donates a huge amount of money to Raj's fundraiser. Annie seems annoyed. Does she think this is another form of escort payment?
Speaking of payment, this Liam modeling storyline is one I can get behind! I felt a little bad for Liam that his first paying job resulted in a billboard of his body with his head cut off. Ouch!
This episode Max finally stopped letting himself get walked all over and dumped Naomi. When he said, "I can't be the guy that doesn't care that you're into somebody else," I wanted to leap into the TV and high five him! Watching him tap dance and be part of that magic act was just brutally painful.
Though I hate country music, it was fun to have Kellie Pickler guest star as Austin's cousin Sally. Her song "Tough" was actually pretty good.
We had a second singer this hour, Adriana. In an interview with TV Line, Jessica Lowndes (who plays Adriana) shares that the song she performed is actually from an album she plans to release in real life. Check out the full interview here.
