While in Connecticut this weekend I had the pleasure of bopping around downtown Niantic.
This weekend I traveled to Connecticut to go wedding dress shopping with my best friend from high school. In between our two bridal salon appointments we stopped to refuel at an adorable place called Cafe Sol in Niantic, CT.
None of us had been to Cafe Sol before, but the sign caught our attention. After we parked the car, as we walked toward the cafe we saw this:
This afternoon I went with one of my coworkers (who is also a vegetarian) to Hillstone for lunch.
Back in March I booked a trip to Miami, FL for September to celebrate the Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashana with my family and it just so happened this year the holiday also fell on my 27th birthday. I had known for months I would celebrate this new year in my life in Miami instead of Boston, but I was unsure where to go to ring in the big 2-7.

I have been to The Druid countless times and have always had a positive experience. When my high school friend suggested we meet there for our dinner date tonight I happily agreed to the plan.
Earlier this week I went with four of my best girls to Russell House Tavern in Harvard Square. Since it opened I have read and heard nothing but spectacular things. Despite the fanfare, I was avoiding Russell House because their vegetarian options are incredibly limited. I was curious to see what they could whip up that would please my herbivore palette.
I spent Saturday of Labor Day weekend in Providence, RI.
Saturday morning of Labor Day weekend my Manhattan visitor and I hopped in the car and headed down 95 to visit one of our favorites in Providenc
