My junior year of college I studied abroad in Cordoba, Spain. For our spring break I traveled to Italy with two friends, making three stops - Venice, Florence and Rome. Though I thought I'd fall deeply in love with Venice or Florence, Rome was the city that stole my heart. In fact, of all the places I visited in Europe that year, Rome was the only place I could actually see myself living.

Harvard Square has been a special place to me all my life. My mother is a Harvard graduate, so as kids she would take us around the neighborhood to all her favorite spots. In high school, I thought I was super cool eating at the Border Cafe with my friends and in college, when my roommates would come to visit from far away cities, Harvard Square always seemed to make it on my tour. When I graduated, I moved to Inman Square, a short 10 minute walk from Harvard. Now, living in Watertown, I commute through the Square every single day.

Hello, my beautiful readers. I was hoping to be able to share a drool-worthy restaurant review with you today, but my camera has been experiencing some serious issues. When I sat down to watch last night's episode, my RCN cable box decided to do this fun thing where it just shuts off without any warning. So, the first six minutes of the episode did not record. I was able to begin watching at the moment when Peter (with grotesquely long hair) is sitting in Mindy's office.

This week's episode was called "What to expect when you're expecting" in which Mindy comes to grips with her changing pregnancy body.
In one of the opening scenes, Mindy can't seem to find anything to wear. Danny tries to comfort her by saying she has that great pregnancy glow. She fires back, "This isn't a glow, this is sweat from exertion from trying to pull these jeans up over my fat ass!" Danny attempts to cheer her up by saying, "I know what would make you feel sexy. We haven't taken the D train to Seduction Junction in a while." HA! I almost spit out my water.
