Tonight on Grey's Anatomy we mark the end of an era. Actress Sandra Oh was been playing cut throat, snarky, cardio genius Cristina Yang for 10 seasons and tonight we say farewell.
When I sat down to watch tonight's episode of Grey's Anatomy, I was nervous. You may remember reading in my post last Thursday that Isaiah Washington would be reprising his role as Dr. Burke this week. While I was very interested to see how the writers would script his return (Is he still in love with Cristina? Does he want to offer her a job?), I also couldn't shake the memory of the homophobic comments he made which got him expelled from the show.
Tonight, actress Sandra Oh will put on her Dr. Cristina Yang scrubs for the last time. I am disappointed to be traveling for work today and unable to watch the episode live with all of you tonight.
Last week I was in Miami for the start of my little sister's wedding weekend so I didn't get to watch Grey's. As a result, this week you get a double dose of recap.

This hour Callie throws down with Derek, making it known she isn't going to drop their collaborative research without a fight. She convinces Derek to stand up to the White House and sure enough, they preserve the project. Phew! I didn't want to deal with Callie suing Derek.
