Gossip Girl: Bad Boy Billy

Its official, Billy Baldwin's William Van der Woodsen will now join the ranks of the most villainous Gossip Girl characters with the likes of Jack Bass, Georgina Sparks and Nelly Yuki. This week on Gossip Girl Billy (as I prefer to call him) continued to slither his way between the Humphrey/Van der Woodsen clan wreaking havoc everywhere he went.

Billy has Lily and Serena under his thumb and manages to win Eric over by magically making Elliot materialize in the condo. What? Let's hope Eric and Rufus' common sense keeps them on defense and they avoid any sneak attacks or explosions.

This episode Dan and Vanessa continue to fight and ultimately Dan urges Vanessa to take an internship offer in Haiti for three months. In real life rumors have been swirling about Jessica Szohr's exit from the Gossip Girl cast. Could this be how they write her out? Here's hoping.

I had two favorite moments in this episode, both revolving around our Queen Bee, Blair. First we see Blair get her evil mojo back when she takes down two headband wearing Columbia snobs. Then she receives a fantastic surprise gift from Chuck - an acceptance to Columbia. Apparently Chuck applied on Blair's behalf knowing she wanted to transfer. She acknowledges the gesture with a simple text, "Thank you, B." I don't know about you but I'm getting a whiff of reconciliation!

Onto the peeves - while I am thrilled Jenny is no longer hurling herself shamelessly at Nate, now she is rocking atrocious hair extensions, overly dark make up and her drug dealing past is rearing its ugly head again sans Damien? No, thanks. To everything. Also, where does this neighbor get off talking trash about Rufus to his family? Listen sheneighbor, that man his been through enough. Keep those skeletons in your own closet.

There are only two episodes left this season and plenty of room for cliffhangers! Will Billy's true intentions be revealed? Will Lily and Rufus break up? Will Eric bed this mysterious Elliot boy? Can Jenny ever get back a sense of normalcy? And most importantly, can Chuck thaw Blair's heart and make his way back in?

Photo spoilers for future episodes show a Chuck and Blair exchange involving pink peonies (Blair's favorite) and the return of a blond wig wearing Georgina Sparks!
