The Good, The Bad and The Skinny

On this week's episode of "The City" Whitney invites the girls to Kelly Cutrone's birthday bash. For those who need a refresher, Whitney left her job at Teen Vogue (where she worked with Lauren Conrad of "Laguna Beach" and "The Hills" fame) for a new job at a styling/fashion company called People's Revolution. Kelly Cutrone is the owner of People's Revolution and one feisty broad.

The ladies arrive at the party, after being warned in advance that Kelly can be blunt, and Allie decides it a good idea to ask Kelly what she thinks of the outfit she is wearing. Kelly politely skirts the question, but then probes Allie about having an eating problem. Telling her she doesn't look ok and she is too thin. After several comments, Allie storms out. A drunk Whitney runs after her, apologizes and takes her home.

Meanwhile, back inside, Erin bumps into her ex from high school, Jared. A smokin hottie, and totally still into her. Flash forward to the next morning, he is putting his clothes back on after spending the night. What about Duncan? The Canadian boyfriend? Who was ready to move to NYC for you? Come on, Erin!

Despite her cheating ways, Erin gets a big break, and Allie hooks her up with an interview at her management company. Erin gets the job, and on her first day wears the ugliest arts and crafts project looking earrings I have ever seen. No, no, no. I know fashion in NYC is edgier, but that is just a disgrace!

Whitney and Olivia share a scene that further confirms to me Olivia is a hired actress and not actually an employee at DVF. She and Whitney never agree on anything, and when they are talking to one another, it seems like two separate conversations. Sadly, no appearance this week from Olivia's slacker cousin, Nevin. Barely any hottie Jay either!

The episode ends with Allie and Adam perusing Dean and Deluca while discussing the cruel ways of Kelly Cutrone. I was too busy drooling over all the fresh food to hear what they were saying. Allie was offended, we get in. The girl does look like a Bratz doll.

I'm ready for LC to come visit NYC! Fly her out!
