I have just returned from five days in Miami. While the primary reason for my trip was to celebrate Passover with my family, we were able to sneak in one restaurant meal before the holiday.
On Sunday evening we hopped in the car and headed to the up-and-coming neighborhood of Sunset Harbour. In the past two years this beautiful, waterfront spot has exploded with restaurants, bars and a very futuristic-looking Publix.
Tonight is the first night of Passover, the holiday that recounts the Jewish people's exodus from slavery in Egypt. Passover has always been one of my favorite holidays because the rituals take place around the dining room table, rather than in a synagogue.

On my second morning in Las Vegas, drunk on happiness and teenage dreams realized (at the Backstreet Boys concert the night before), my travel buddy and I were in search of an extra special place to dine. China Poblano is one of my favorite restaurants in Las Vegas. I have dined there many times, but always with clients, which isn't exactly the most appropriate setting to say, "Hey, can you not touch your food until I take a picture of it?" I am so happy I was able to return with a friend so I can share all of this deliciousness with you!
One of the best parts of staying at Aria in Las Vegas was its proximity to The Cosmopolitan. From the Aria lobby you walk through the Crystal Shops (a luxury mall with Prada, Pucci, Valentino and more), over a short pedestrian bridge and voila! You've reached the Cosmo.
