During my first trip to Jackson Hole in July 2023, one of my favorite outings was to Teton Village. It was a beautiful, sunny day and we had reserved tickets for the gondola. We rode up the mountainside and arrived at the Deck at Piste, a restaurant with the most stunning views.
When we booked our trip for October, I knew I wanted to go back to Teton Village. The golden yellow Aspen trees added a new kind of beauty to the walking paths.
After a stroll around, we headed for the Handle Bar at the Four Seasons, which is right at the base of Jackson Mountain.
We sat on the outdoor patio, where they had the fire blazing. Can you imagine sitting here after a day of skiing? It would feel so cozy.
The Handle Bar has one of the most fun cocktail menus. In addition to the hilarous drink names, they also make their own Fireball.
I went with the hot toddy (a Fall classic), that warmed me from the inside out. My besite got the Mic Drop, which was housemade Limoncello and lavender infused simple syrup.
Her drink came with a tiny sprig of lavendar on the side, attached with the cutest mini clothespin.
We also ordered the "frickles," the Handle's Bar take on fried pickles. They had a wonderfully crispy batter, delicious seasoning and came with a side of aioli for dipping.
While we didn't order anything else this time around, the menu looked fantastic. I could easily see people devouring the burgers and sandwiches after a day of skiing.
Before we left, I went inside the use the ladies room. When I walked in, I saw the dining room and it had such a cute vibe. Ski lodge meets upscale summer camp.
If you make the trip to Jackson during ski season, a trip the Handle Bar is a must! For the joy of that tiny clothespin alone.
