Holiday Gift Guide 2020: For The Kiddos

Nine years ago I became an auntie for the very first time. Since then, my sister, my cousins and many close friends have welcomed little ones of their own into the world. Over the years, I've become a bit of an expert on kids clothes, books, toys and gifts. I pride myself on selecting things that quickly become a household favorite.

Today's guide is all about finding the perfect present for the munchkins who spark joy in your life.

Let's start with a toy for bath time, the catch & score hoop from Fat Brain Toys. It comes with a fishing net that suctions to the tub or shower wall, plus three little sea creatures.

Post-tub, wrap up in this this robe from Maisonette. Perfect for any kiddo who loves to sing "Baby Shark."

When it comes to make believe, I love toys with a foodie twist, like this blender set from Tender Leaf Toys. It's all the fun of making real smoothies, without the noise of the actual blender!

This tea set is as sweet as the pretend sugar your niece or nephew will scoop into you cup!

This may be my greatest toy discovery of all time - a play ice cream truck that doubles as a walker. Toddlers can load up the truck, then push it all around the house or yard.

For the budding artist, I love these "smush" crayons from the MoMA Design Store.

If you are worried about your kids going stir crazy this winter, go for this mini golf set which can easily be set up inside the house. My guess is they'll spend hours setting it up and making it just right before ever even picking up a club.

This next gift is one I wish I had as a kid, your very own tent swing. It's from Fat Brain Toys and they call it a Sky Nook. Hang it inside or outside.

For a kid who loves the snow, this LL Bean saucer is the perfect thing to bring to the neighborhood sledding hill. It comes in five different colors.

I'll be back tomorrow with the fifth and final guide of the series, gifts for dogs (and their dog-obsessed owners!).
