Holiday Gift Guide 2016: For The Kiddos

I love shopping in general, but I really love shopping for my little cousins. There are five of them - three boys and two girls - and I have the best time hunting for new things to surprise them. If you have kiddos in your life, I hope today's guide will help you wow them this year.

Let's start with this baby snow suit which makes my heart explode. How cute is this? Can't you just picture a sweet baby with chubby cheeks poking out of this?

Snow Suit

This snow suit is $150 on Zappos. It also comes in a blue version.

I swooned over these North Face zip up hoodies. I saw the brown one first and thought, "Awww, like a teddy bear!"

Then I noticed this pink one and got just as excited! These are $60 on Zappos.

For a toddler age girl, I think this "Stay Cozy" long sleeve shirt from Target is a lovely addition to her winter wardrobe. I really like the pale blush color and the fun pom pom hat design. This is just $7 dollars!

Stay Cozy Shirt

Speaking of cozy, this year consider giving your favorite tot a new stuffed animal friend to snuggle up with. I recently discovered Cuddle + Kind, a company that makes hand knit dolls. For every doll purchased, they donate 10 meals to children in need. You can read more about their mission here. This is Willow the deer. Notice the ice cream cone on her sweater.

Everest the penguin is also pretty adorable. Look at his hat, scarf and boots!

Each Cuddle + Kind doll comes in two sizes, ranging in price from $45 - $65 dollars.

For an animal friend with a practical twist, check out these travel pillows from The Company Store ($49 dollars). All of my little cousins are quite the jet setters and I get so giddy thinking about them carrying one of these under their little arms for their next flight. The monkey is my top pick, but the dog is pretty awesome too.

For a gift that makes meal time more fun, check out this train dining set from Uncommon Goods ($20).

I love making hot cocoa with the kiddos (with marshmallows, of course). This year, bring an even bigger smile to their faces at cocoa time with this ice skating reindeer mug. Each mug is just $5.95.

When I was little my mom always used to give us art themed gifts, so I try to continue that tradition with my cousins. This year I was so happy to discover these gingerbread shaped crayons! Just $5.00 on Etsy for a set of 10.

Last but not least, I have so many friends who became first time moms this year and they deserve something special too, don't you think? Gift those new parents a diaper bag with style from marandalee on Etsy. This arrow pattern bag is $80 dollars.

And there you have it! My favorite finds for the kiddos this year. If you missed any of the previous gift guides this week, you can catch up below. The seventh and final guide goes up tomorrow!
