Only in New York City can you find an entire bakery dedicated to Rice Krispie treats! As I walked toward the storefront I felt a magnetic pull drawing me toward the front window.
Like a child, I pressed both hands (and my nose) against the glass to get a closer look.
Emoji Rice Kripsie treats? So fun!
This is Treat House, the Upper West Side bakery breathing new life into the classic bake sale treat.
The dessert case is full of rows and rows of Rice Krispie treats, each with a different, distinct flavor. The treats sit on wooden boards, with a birch tree stump displaying the flavor details.
The first flavor to catch my eye was the dark chocolate chip, topped with dark chocolate frosting and a single chocolate chip. This flavor also happens to be vegan.
I love any version of s'mores, so I was seriously considering tasting the Rice Krispie treat rendition. Look at those toasted marshmallows on top!
If you love marshmallows, you can also try the hot cocoa flavor. This particular one has marshmallows on top as well as whole marshmallows baked into the treat itself.
For those with an extra big sweet tooth, the cotton candy flavor is topped with frosting and gummi bears.
Caramel fans can indulge in the caramel sea salt, garnished with small pieces of caramel.
Don't worry peanut butter lovers, there is a flavor for you too!
M&Ms are one of my favorite candies, so I got particularly wide eyed at the site of this flavor, covered in M&M minis.
For the Oreo addict, the cookies and cream flavor comes with a mini Oreo right on top.
The final option in the case was a chocolate pretzel combination, always a winning choice.
At Treat House you can buy two pieces, four pieces or twelve pieces. I wish there was a six piece option, because it was tough to choose just four! In the end I narrowed it down to the dark chocolate, the hot cocoa, the cookies and cream and the chocolate pretzel (are you sensing a theme here?).
The cookies and cream was definitely my favorite. The rich icing, the chocolate sprinkles and the mini Oreo just made it totally decadent. I also loved the chocolate pretzel, which had chocolate in the Rice Krispie treat and the most heavenly dark chocolate frosting.
In addition to their signature mini treats, you can also get Rice Krispie treat pops.
I was very tempted by the M&M pop.
Treat House also makes gift packages for all occasions. Here is an example of their get well box.
If you want to take it even one step further, you can customize gift boxes for any milestone - engagement, wedding, baby. I visited the shop with a friend who recently got engaged and she not so subtly hinted that she loved the idea of these for a bridal shower.
If you get the chance to visit the Manhattan store, the decor is just too cute.
They have an actual Treat House (a play on a tree house) which makes for a fun hangout when you're with kids. I actually think the minis are a perfect size treat for a kiddo.
If you can't get to New York, don't fret! You can order all of Treat House's flavors and create custom gifts and favors on their website.

I can’t imagine focusing long enough to research; much less write this kind of article. You’ve outdone yourself with this material. This is great content. https://vitamincserumindia.wordpress.com/2021/05/26/summer-skincare-tip-with-vitamin-c/
