Holiday Gift Guide 2016: For The Wine Lover

Happy Cyber Monday! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend filled with quality time with family and friends and boat loads of delicious food. Thanksgiving marks the official start of the holiday season, which is one of my favorite times of year. The weeks between Thanksgiving and New Year's Eve are filled with decorating, card writing, party going, cooking, baking and most importantly . . . shopping! (And wrapping, my personal obsession). 

I can't think of a better day to kick of the annual Pop.Bop.Shop. holiday gift guides than Cyber Monday, the single greatest day for online deals and discounts. Let's begin with the first gift guide, an ode to the wine lover.

This year at work I have two clients in the wine industry, so I have found myself more interested in trying new varietals and learning about the wine making process. If you have a wino in your life, below are six ideas for making them smile this holiday season. 

This first item was sent to me by a co-worker who knows my love of wine AND my love of glitter. They sell gold, silver, red, pink and a rainbow version. 

I love the idea of the gold glitter bottles on a bar cart if you're hosting a holiday party or bringing a gift to a friend's house. 

I also think the glitter bottles would be extra fun at a New Year's Eve party!

Speaking of wine, parties and fun, I can't get over this wine stocking. Seriously, how genius is this?

Another fantastic Amazon find, Vino2Go tumblers. These are like Tervis tumblers, but designed specifically for wine.

For $10.79 you get two tumblers. Each one holds 10 ounces of wine. 

Over the years I have seen a lot of cute wine charms, typically used to help party guests keep track of their personal glass. This year I was excited to see Crate & Barrel's creative idea - wine glass markers! They make a set of two (red and green) which are perfect for Christmas.

They also offer a three-pack of black, silver and gold, which is ideal for New Year's Eve. 

It's just $7.95 for the duo or $9.95 for the three-pack. 

If you're looking for a small gift for a holiday party host or hostess, I love this reindeer wine stopper. Just $10 dollars, but oh-so-regal. 

Last but not least, these socks crack me up. They are from a shop on Etsy called On The Beach Boutique and read "If you can read this, please bring me wine." 

I think these should be mandatory attire for watching "Scandal." They sell for $16.95 per pair. Etsy shipping can take a while, so if you have someone in mind as the recipient of these socks, order right away so they arrive in time.
