Tonight's episode of "90210" centered around the gang attending the West Bev reunion. Who goes back to high school after only two years?
Naomi is particularly motivated to appear as she's vying for a spot in the West Bev Legacy Club. The club's queen bee is played by Denise Richards. How is she still in Hollywood? Her two claims to fame are a threesome in "Wild Things" and being married to Charlie Sheen. Not exactly crowning achievements.
This hour Teddy came back! Teddy has always been one of my favorite characters. I loved when he and Silver were on the roof hitting tennis balls just like old times. Teddy tells Silver that his boyfriend Shane ended things, but it turns out Teddy backed away from him. It seems they are reconciling, that is until Shane learns Teddy gave Silver his sperm. I can't believe I just typed that.
At the reunion Silver faces her fears and dances in front of the whole crowd.
Naomi tries to make things right with the people she bullied in high school by standing naked before them at a charity fashion show. The crowd winds up throwing food at her. If only that's really what happened at high school reunions.
Toward the end of the episode we find out Max has been pushed out of his copy by Bryce, the super girl. He basically blames Naomi for hiring her, which is just another bump in the road for their marriage. I am waiting for that separation. Max will surely initiate it.
Annie gets visits from a few ghosts of her past. First cousin Emily who is now a famous blogger with an agent and a press tour. Creepy Jasper also makes a reappearance. At first it seems Jasper wants to talk to Liam about Vanessa, but later we learn he wants Liam to read his screenplay. Phew!
Sadly we aren't rid of Vanessa, who seems to be alive and well in someone's swimming pool. Also, during several commercials this hour I saw that Vanessa is also on "Vampire Diaries." Way to double dip, CW.
Toward the end of the episode Dixon finds the video of Adriana hooking up with Taylor. He confronts her and she spills the beans that she slept with Taylor. Since Adriana already signed a record contract with Dixon, he decides not to let her out of it and to call his new label Unfaithful Records. A bit mellow dramatic, but hey, do what you've got to do brother.
At the end of the episode we see that Annie is starting a blog (taking after cousin Emily) and she is sharing about her time as a hooker. Interesting. Also, where was Riley? Aren't they back together now?
In previews for next week, Adriana tells Liam's security guard that she saw Vanessa. The security guard seems alarmed and angry (hello, crazy). Teddy approaches Silver about wanting to co-parent their child. Naomi confronts Alec about being in love with Max and Liam is apparently tied up somewhere with duct tape over his mouth. It wouldn't be the mid-season finale without cliffhangers!
