Grey's Anatomy: The Fight

At the end of tonight's episode of Grey's Anatomy I felt dissatisfied. I spent nearly an hour watching Owen and Cristina have a pointless fight. I feel like the Grey's writers have been torturing Owen and Cristina since they first met. For nearly an entire season they dealt with Owen's PTSD, then Cristina had her own PTSD from the shooting and most recently they've been at odds about her terminating her pregnancy. If you don't want them to be together, then break them up.

I also find it incredibly hard to believe that Owen would go out to dinner with a patient's family member, get drunk, admit to this woman he is married and then hook up with her. I just don't believe he would do that. I also don't believe that he didn't know her name. Poor story line all around.

On the positive side, I loved Mark Sloan's turn as the chief. Beef with the chief? Priceless.

My favorite story line of the night had to be ladies night. From Teddy's hyper energetic chatter about the plan, to Bailey's attempt to duck out, to Arizona's eventual hero moment - I loved it all. Just when I thought it couldn't get any more hysterical, Teddy walks into Callie and Arizona's place with three bottles of wine, "Dirty Dancing" and "Beaches" and says, "I didn't know what to bring, so I just brought everything! We have all night, right?" When Bailey looked up and asked, "Did she say moviessssss?" I just about died from laughter.

In the previews for next week Bailey's son Tuck goes missing from the hospital's day care center. Oh boy, this is going to be rough.

What did you think about tonight's episode? Were you rooting for Cristina and Owen to reconcile or to break up once and for all?
