Grey's Anatomy: I'm Not G.I. Jane, I'm Attachment Barbie

Welcome back, Grey's! After a lackluster hour last Thursday, the show returned this week with the perfect balance of heart wrenching moments and laugh so hard you can't breathe one liners.

Let's begin with the best line of the night from Teddy, "I'm not G.I. Jane, I'm Attachment Barbie!" when discussing her crush on the trauma therapist who will soon be leaving Seattle Grace. Poor Teddy, she can't catch a break in the love department. At least she was rocking some sweet, apple red nails.

Then there were the side-splitting conversations about first times and condom inhalation, and of course, April's spew of gossip across the table at Joe's Bar.

This episode we also met Derek's sister Amy, who apparently has been a featured character on Private Practice (which I don't watch, but was informed by my viewing partner). I really enjoyed the scene where Derek confesses to Amy the truth about the day their father was shot.

Amy could have come and gone without causing too much of a wake had she not hit on Mark! Of course when Lexi is finally ready to talk to Mark again she stumbles upon him and Amy! The timing is just impossible for these two!

Both Cristina story lines were great this week - her attempt to re-gain her confidence in surgery and her evolving relationship with Owen. I loved the final scene where Cristina and Owen are home on the couch and their conversation is interrupted by Arizona and Callie having a passionate make out across the apartment! Well played, ladies.

Lastly, I was haunted by the story line about the man with the warts. I don't think most of us consider having skin to be a luxury. After seeing this man's condition, his embarrassment and the pain this has caused him and his wife, I think I'll resist complaining the next time a blemish sprouts on my face.

In previews for next week Dr. Avery goes shirtless (hell to the yes!) and Derek and Meredith see a fertility specialist. Is it time for a McBaby?
