Ailey. Bloc. Jive.

This week on Taking the Stage it was the season finale. As the school year came to an end, each of our favorite stars had a meaningful experience.

Tyler and Malik got the opportunity to audition for Bloc talent agency, which represents hip hop dancers. Tyler wowed the reps and was offered a contract with the agency. The choreographer said he had the "X factor" (Duh, we could have told you that).

Meanwhile, the reps told Malik he needed to take some more hip hop classes. Ouch. Do they not know he choreographs all the routines for The Definition? In another touching scene, Malik's adorable mother tries to calm him down after the difficult rejection. I love her!

Jasmine flies to Miami to audition for the Alvin Ailey dance school. She winds up getting into the school, but not the dual program with Fordham. Meaning, she could dance, but she wouldn't be working towards a college degree.

Mia and her father head to New York where she auditions for a Jive record exec. He later calls Mia's father to say he feels Mia is still too young, but she has great talent, and she should continue to keep him in the loop as she writes more music. Mia is incredibly disheartened and begins to rethink her goal of being signed by age 18.

After all of these big auditions, the school hosts a spring dance. Tyler asks Mia who she is going with and she shares that she plans to go with Aaron. Tyler responds "Aaron is lucky." Cute.

At the dance, Aaron gets ignored while Mia hits on Tyler. Aaron tells Mia she always goes after guys that are bad for her, and she responds with "of course you would say that, you want me to be with you." Ouch! Mia, that was rough.

While Aaron and Mia argue, Jasmine asks Tyler to dance, and they hold each other close and tight while dancing to Boyz II Men "End of the the Road". Something about that song always makes me want to cry!

Jasmine and Tyler look like they are about to kiss, but when the song ends, they walk away from each other. The final moment of closure.

At the end of the episode, Tyler stumbles upon Mia practicing piano and singing. He sits down next to her and says "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Mia just smiles and he says "I think we should go out tonight." Mia smiles grows, and she nods yes. And . . . scene!

That's the end! Season one comes to a close. Bravo, MTV! Absolutely superb show. I looked forward to it every week, I rooted for the stars, and I couldn't wait to talk about it with my friends. Please bring the show back for a second season!
