Explore: ASSEMBLED Arts Market

For the past few years there have been a handful of neighborhoods in and around Boston that have really been developed and have begun to emerge as hot spots. It started in the Seaport, then moved to Union Square in Somerville, then a ways out to Chestnut Hill and now it's happening at Assembly Row.

It feels like every week there is a new store, restaurant or attraction opening at Assembly Row. In addition to the shops, today begins the weekly ASSEMBLED Arts Market.
Each Saturday from today through September 13th over 30 artists will showcase their work ranging from handmade jewelry to clothing to photography and home decor.
I love these pillows from vendor Sheri Levine. They are perfect for a beach house.
The vendors will change each week, but the market is on every Saturday from 11:00am - 3:00pm and parking is free both in the lot and in the garage.
If you haven't yet been to Assembly Row, you've got to check it out. It has a brand new AMC movie theater with leather reclining chairs and the biggest self-serve concession stand you've ever seen. They also have Burger Dive, Papagayo, J.P. Licks, Nike, Puma, Converse, the Saks Fifth Avenue outlet and more. It's 100 percent worth the trip.
Have you been to Assembly Row yet?
