Happy long weekend, everyone! I think we can all agree we really need that extra day, no?
It's been a while since I've shared any music with you, but the other day I was driving and this song came on that I'd never heard before. Of course I whipped open my Shazam app to find out what it was and the app said, "Say Something" by A Great Big World and Christina Aguilera. I made a mental note, but then kind of forgot about it.
Yesterday I was standing in line at the sandwich shop across the street from my office, patiently waiting for my veggie wrap, when the song came on again. I started to tear up! In public!

I find that opening vocal so hauntingly beautiful. When the track is just the piano, not the swell that comes later, it just reaches in and grabs you.
In the last few seconds of the duet, when they quiet their voices to almost a whisper, I get chills every time. Every single time.
