New York Fashion Week: Spring 2012 (Part II)

I am obsessed with New York Fashion Week. I'm following the shows live on Twitter and Instagram and when I get home, I sink into a sea of beauty on NYMag.com watching one runway slideshow after another.

One of the collections I adore is Badgley Mischka. When I was a little girl I had hundreds of Barbie dolls. Other girls had a few Barbies, but also had My Little Pony, Cabbage Patch Dolls, etc. I was a Barbie loyalist. This Badgley Mischka collection is like my wildest Barbie wardrobe dreams come true, but life size.

Another designer I keep my eye on is Zac Posen. I first noticed his designs on Natalie Portman at several award shows. In this new collection there are many dresses that I am certain will grace the red carpet, perhaps even the Emmy Awards this Sunday. Keep your eyes peeled for these gowns:

I think this next gown is so fierce that it might even be too much for the red carpet! Wow.

Though those gowns may seem out of reach, there were two designs I could easily see myself wearing. This incredible suit:

And this apple red, strapless, cocktail dress. Delicious.

Lastly, I was drawn to two looks from the Reem Acra show. Neither of these are practical in my every day life, not even for my fanciest occasion, but I think they are fabulous.

Whose designs are you loving?
