Grey's Anatomy: Wedding Day

This week on Grey's Anatomy Callie and Arizona got married! It's hard to believe that just last episode Callie was still recovering from the accident. I know the show sped through twelve weeks over the course of last week's episode, but it still feels quick.

I wasn't able to truly celebrate their union because I was still so furious about Callie's mother's reaction. I understand she was having a difficult time, but her words were so incredibly hurtful. If that had been me, in Callie's position, I would not be able to stop crying.

I have to hand it to the show's stylists, both Callie and Arizona looked fantastic in their wedding dresses! Though I personally would never wear a dress with bedazzled sleeves, Callie looked gorgeous. Arizona's look was a bit flower power for my taste, but she absolutely pulled it off.

This episode Meredith and Derek also got married, officially. There goes my prediction that Derek would find out about Meredith tampering with the trial and break up with her. Instead they are pursuing the adoption of baby Z! Do you think Alex will spill the beans?

Speaking of telling the truth, do you think Teddy will tell the crisis doctor that she is married to Scott Foley? Do you think she is actually going to consider moving to Germany?

I like the "race for chief resident" story line because it is giving each doctor additional screen time and space for their character to develop. We have Karev treating the African patients, Dr. Avery focusing on the Chief's mice and Kepner making porridge. How crazy was it that the Chief basically told Christina she is in dead last? Ouch.

Only two episodes left until the end of the season! Do you think the new chief resident will be selected during the finale? Who is your pick for the job?
