90210: Namaste

I knew I was going to love this week's episode of 90210 when the opening scene was to Duffy's "Mercy." I love that song!

This episode centered around Naomi throwing a party for Guru Sona. Last week one of my friends who watches the show religiously told me she thought Guru Sona was holding on to Naomi for her money. Voila! She was right. Even if Naomi goes back to her old, narcissistic ways, we'll always have, "Namaste, bitches."

Speaking of bitches, I knew creepy cousin Emily's reign of terror was only just beginning. This week she sabotages Annie's audition, blows Aunt Becky and Mr. Matthews' cover, and I can only imagine what she'll attack next week. For the third week in a row, let me say again, I hate this story line.

Also, who else completely forgot Annie was still working for the woman who wanted her eggs?

Moving onto Ian. In general I love his character. I love that he leads so many of the school events, I love his friendship with Silver (1,2,3 - Rob Pattinson!) and I love how he is bringing Teddy out of his shell. That is until we learned he faux black mailed him. Dear lord, Ian! That was a bit extreme, no? Also the entire time Teddy was in the car during the final scene - first with Ian, then alone - I had this terrible feeling the car was going to get hit. Very glad my gut was wrong!

The episode also ended on a high note with one of my absolute favorite songs, Adele's "Rolling in the Deep."

In previews for next week, rapper Nelly makes an appearance and Adriana's reality show begins taping. Just when you thought she couldn't get any more self obsessed.
