Shop: Mod Cloth

Ok, it's true, I did it. I clicked on a Facebook ad.

You know the ones I'm talking about. Those small, square ads that run on the right side of your Facebook page that you typically ignore. I tend to ignore them too, until today.

Today I was seduced by a dress advertisement from Mod Cloth. I have highlighted several Mod Cloth dresses in the past, but had never shopped their actual website. I decided to click the dress and see what followed.

I landed on the Mod Cloth home page which I discovered is adorable! Each dress has a fun, flirty name and the product descriptions are fantastic! They write about their dresses just the way you would describe a new purchase to a friend.

After about an hour of perusing, here are my best finds:

The "Girly Delights Dress" is strapless with a sweetheart neckline, a bow at the waist and the most charming pattern! Perfect for winter with black tights, black pumps and garnished with a short, pearl necklace.

The "Dawn on Me Dress" is so glam rock! I'm not sure where to wear this, but it just screams "gotta have me!"

I love the name of this flirty, one shoulder dress, "Teal Infinity and Beyond." You can put down your Buzz Lightyear arms now. Buy this dress now and save it for your next spring time bridal shower or engagement party.

The "Budding Talent Dress" is the ultimate hostess ensemble. Feminine, sophisticated and dressy, it has an "I own the room" air about it. I love the description on the site. It reads, "You're on the brink of major success - and when it comes to opening night, your first one-woman show, or the release of your first novel, the frock that you wear while shining your bright light will only serve to heighten your effervescence." Due to its darker colors, this dress works for all seasons.

Perhaps all the AMC Mad Men promotions are infiltrating my sense of style because I gravitated towards this "Soda Pop Dress." A classic silhouette in a fun, punchy color.

Though I've already written about several New Years Eve worthy, sparkly frocks, I can't help but suggest another one, the "On the Airwaves Dress." I love this fitted dress with the glittering top, and form fitting, black skirt. Worn with a high pony tail or tight ballerina bun and paired with a metallic heel, this would be incredibly fierce.

The dresses I've showcased range in price from $57 - $157, an option for every budget. Take that holiday cash and treat yourself to a new dazzler!
