Gossip Girl: They Will Always Choose Serena

This week on Gossip Girl, the world revolved around Serena. Actually, that's every week. Colin, Dan and Nate all chased the blond up and down the island of Manhattan. Dan however got humiliated twice! First when he arrived at the ballet only to watch Serena reconcile with Colin, then on the street corner when Nate beat him to Serena's front door. Sorry, Lonely Boy.

After all of the back and forth, Serena decides to break things off with Colin. What was the purpose of this story line? You introduce this hotness and then you just take him away? Cruel.

This episode I loved Chuck and Blair's cat and mouse game. They arguably work better as highly charged enemies than actual partners.

Also this hour, Vanessa took a sharp turn toward the dark side and is on a war path to take down Serena. She has partnered with Juliet and get this, Juliet wants to team with Little J! Here. We. Go.

I can't conclude without calling out the two truthful, W's at the Humphrey breakfast table. W is for waffles and Wesleyan. Of course Rufus still makes waffles even though Lily can order them, and of course Eric is off visiting Wesleyan. Perfectly written scene.

It seems next week the ladies will be divided: Vanessa, Juliet and Jenny versus Blair, Serena and of course, Dorota. Bring it on.
