On Monday evening the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City hosted its annual Costume Institute Gala, an event notorious for risk-taking celebrity fashion. Its a feast for the eyes for any fashion lover. Below my top three "wow" outfits:
1) Jennifer Lopez in Zuhair Murad - I literally gasped when I saw this dress. What can I say? I love the bling! The fitted top is stunning, which leads to an A-line skirt with a tendril pattern giving way to a full, ice blue skirt underneath. Postively magnificent.
2) Camilla Belle in Jason Wu - This designer, who has also dressed First Lady Michelle Obama, always mixes femininity with elegance and grace. This apple red color is luscious.
3) Blake Lively in Marchesa - If you read this blog regularly you know Marchesa is my favorite designer. This electric blue mini dress is eye catching and bold while also being intricate and artfully constructed.
