Last night I met one of my college girlfriends for an early dinner at John Brewer's Tavern. The restaurant is just a ten minute drive from my office, located on route 20, right on the border of Waltham and Watertown.
John Brewer's is a casual place with two sides - "the tavern" which is the bar side, and the dining room. Throughout both spaces the decor is classic, Americana kitsch. There are American flags of all varieties and other colonial artifacts adorning the walls.
Friday night I picked up one of my girlfriends at South Station and we headed to Inman Square in Cambridge for dinner.
Tonight I met one of my absolute favorite people on the planet for dinner at Legacy Place in Dedham.
Tonight I met one of my favorite dining out companions for dinner in Harvard Square.
Back in April I went with two girlfriends to Melting Pot in downtown Boston for a birthday celebration
Tonight I had dinner at Grendel's Den, one of the best kept secrets of greater Boston.
Tonight I had dinner with one of my favorite girls at Devlin's in Brighton Center.
A few weeks ago a girlfriend of mine who lives in Oak Square in Brighton let me know a new dessert place would be opening soon next to Pizza Etc
I have been eating at Common Ground regularly since I moved to Brighton two years ago.
Last night I joined a group of girlfriends for an intimate birthday celebration. The birthday girl chose a place I had never been to (or heard of) called Barlow's. Having not heard of the restaurant before, I had no idea what to expect.
Yesterday I was scheduled to meet my cousin and her fiance for Sunday brunch. We were seeking a location with easy on/off access from the Mass Pike, as they were headed home to Manhattan after our meal. I suggested Deep Ellum, a hipster hang out I'd heard about from many friends and had been dying to try.
