Tonight I met a former coworker at Back Bay Social Club for Restaurant Week. I had been wanting to check out it and this seemed like the perfect occasion.
Back Bay Social Club is located on Boylston Street between Whiskey's and EMS. The restaurant has an illuminated sign over the awning, a bat signal of sorts, calling all drinkers to the bar.
There are a few occasions every year that have me bursting with joy: my birthday, the Super Bowl and Restaurant Week.
I have lived in Brighton Center for almost three years and during that time there has always been a vacant lot next to the CVS on Washington Str
On Thursday night I met my parents (both in town from Miami) and two family friends for dinner at one of my favorite French restaurants, Petit Robert Bistro. I have dined at their Kenmore Square location before (see my review from that dinner here) but lately I have been venturing to their Columbus Ave, South End location which is where we dined this week.
You can spot a Petit Robert location by it's illuminated Eiffel Tower out front.
A few weeks ago I read a post on Urban Daddy announcing that a new restaurant would take over the space formerly occupied by Match Burgers & Martinis at the corner of Mass Ave and Newbury Street. I immediately made plans to check it out with two of my best girlfriends. Unfortunately, three consecutive snow storms later, we'd rescheduled three times! Tonight, we finally made it!
94 Mass Ave looks very similar to it's predecessor, Match. They kept the sleek fireplace, the dim lighting and the dark wood tables.
As I mentioned in an earlier post, this past weekend two of my best childhood friends were in town from New York City.
This weekend two of my best childhood friends came to visit from New York City.

Last night I met one of my favorite girls in Harvard Square for dinner.
Those who read the blog regularly know that after graduating college I lived in Inman Square in Cambridge.
