I don't know about you, but the unseasonably warm weather we've been having this month has me in the mood to shop! I want to ditch all my sweaters, scarves, leggings and boots and refresh my closet with short sleeves, light fabrics and bright colors.
That impulse was in full effect at Bobbles & Lace on Pleasant Street in Newburyport this past weekend. I was tempted by all the spring and summer items, like this rose and navy romper (yes, it's shorts!).
I also loved this white and blue patterned dress which would make a perfect pool cover up.
For the days that it's still a bit chilly, Bobbles & Lace also has long sleeve options. I was magnetized toward this navy blue shirt with a billowy white color block at the bottom.
I was very seriously considering purchasing this hoodie. It was lighter than a sweatshirt or a sweater and I love the blue and white, nautical stripes. I especially liked the detail of the feminine drawstrings.
One of the things Bobbles & Lace is best known for is their shoes. There is an entire wall of them (and several more display tables).
I was lusting after these gold loafers, but sadly they only went up to size 9 (I wear an 11).
As the name of the store implies, they also have plenty of bobbles. The store carries everything from cuff bracelets to bangles to lanyard necklaces to cocktail rings and dangly earrings.
Before we left the store, the manager, Jen, surprised each of us with a pair of earrings. These are 100 percent my style and I can't wait to debut them!
Bobbles & Lace has six stores. The very first one opened in Marblehead, MA. When I asked Jen what made the Newburyport location unique, she leaned in and whispered, "It's definitely the customers. The people here are just so nice."

Those earrings are SO you! Wow, seems like the people you're visiting are getting such a strong sense of you just by reading your blog - I'd say that's a pretty amazing thing to accomplish my M; letting your readers really get a true sense of you just by your posts!
