2015 Birthday Wish List

It's officially September, which means it's officially birthday month! Yahoo!

You may remember that last year, in honor of my 30th birthday, I shared a series of posts with gifts ideas for your family and friends also celebrating the big 3-0. You can revisit those ideas here:

From that list, my college girlfriends surprised me and put together the most extravagant gift package that included one of the J.Crew cards, one of the tote bags and the C. Wonder jewelry box. I'm a lucky girl!

Though I won't be doing a multi-post series this year, I thought it would be fun to share another wish list. Below are the items I'm seriously coveting as I approach 31. There are nine items in honor of September, the ninth month!

2015 Birthday Wish List

1. Leather Tassel Pendant from BaubleBar

I get tons of marketing emails every single day and while I delete almost all of them without ever opening them, I always read the emails from BaubleBar. I'm currently lusting after this bronze leather tassel pendant.

I love the combination of the simple gold chain paired with the flashy metallic tassel. This would pair beautifully with a white t-shirt and jeans or a little black dress.

2. Marble Garland Brooch Collar from BaubleBar

The thing about BaubleBar is that you always want more than one piece. Always! I am forever growing my collection of bright statement necklaces and this marble garland brooch collar is a must!

The candy pink color is very fun and feminine. I already have three work outfits in mind that would go perfectly with this stunner.

3. Sparkly Sweatshirt from Bow & Drape

In January I shared my discovery of Bow & Drape, the Build-A-Bear of women's apparel. Since then I have been pining for one of their sweatshirts. The problem is, I can't decide which one! They have so many hilarious expressions and decorations.

Currently, my front runners are Goal Digger:

And I'd Double Tap That:

If you aren't already, be sure to follow @bowanddrape on Instagram, which is where they reveal their new designs and bestsellers.

4. Celebrations Pencil Set from Miss Poppy Design

One of the things I love about the site Etsy is the more shops and items that you "favorite," the more accurate their recommendations become (much like Amazon and Netflix). Through one of their suggestions, I discovered Miss Poppy Design.

Maybe it's all the talk of back to school, but I find myself obsessed with this celebrations pencil set.

If Carrie Bradshaw wrote her columns in a notebook instead of on a Mac, I feel like these would be her pencils.

5. "I'm Not Bossy, I'm The Boss" Mug from Miss Poppy Design

Also from Miss Poppy Design, I cannot go on unless I own this "I'm Not Bossy, I'm The Boss" mug.

I'd like to think that with each sip from this mug, I'll get one step closer to running my own show.

6. Fishs Eddy Gilded Word Plates at West Elm

I fell in love with Fishs Eddy in Union Square in New York about 10 years ago. Every time I'm in NYC, if I pass it, I have to go in.

When I found out Fishs Eddy was partnering with West Elm, I was overjoyed! I have to show a tremendous amount of restraint not to order every single item in the collection. For example, these gilded word plates.

I especially love the plates that say "Eat Up!" and "Seconds?" What a fun surprise for guests to find beneath a platter of goodies.

7. Chalkboard Table Runner from Uncommon Goods

If you've been a Pop.Bop.Shop. reader for a long time, then you know how much I adore chalkboard menus. Imagine my sheer delight to discover Uncommon Goods sells a chalkboard table runner!

This would a nice twist on coloring books or sidewalk chalk when by little cousins come over or an inventive way to write out a dinner party menu or place cards.

8. Barnwood State Side Table from Uncommon Goods

What better way to show local pride than with a piece of custom furniture? Wouldn't a Massachusetts side table be the perfect compliment to a living room or bedroom? With some Boston themed coasters? You're visualizing it, aren't you?

These barnwood state side tables are also on Uncommon Goods.

9. Throw Pillows from Alexandra Ferguson

Perhaps you remember the Alexandra Ferguson pillow I featured in my Holiday Gift Guide for the Mindy Kaling Super Fan. Mindy has one in her trailer that says, "Go To The Gym." I find the entire collection hilarious. More recently, Ferguson has been debuting designs that are more motivational. This one is my current favorite:

With this one as a close second:

You can never have enough hot pink affirmations.

And there you have it! My 2015 birthday wish list. You can view the entire list on Pinterest too.

Happy birthday to all my fellow September babies!
