While I was in Florida over the holiday break last month, my cousin and I wandered into a surf shop after a delicious beachfront brunch. We both swooned over a line of apparel neither of us had heard of before called Amuse Society.
I instantly noticed a tank top that said "Beach vida bling" which I purchased on the spot. Since I was just a few days away from taking off for Puerto Rico, I felt I had to have it.
The shirt is pictured here as both a tank top and a t-shirt, but it also comes as a sweatshirt.
I also love this design which proudly proclaims, "Salty hair who cares."
Equally fun is this pink tank with a palm tree and gold lettering that simply reads, "Vaca."
For something a bit cozier, I am lusting after this charcoal sweatshirt with a gold sequin palm tree. I always keep long sleeves in my beach bag (us New Englanders know how quickly the temperature change) and if I have to be bundled up at the beach, you know I'm doing it with glitter.
Though it may be hard to remember what the sun feels like after the arctic weeks we've been having here in Boston, if you are planning a getaway this winter, get excited for your trip by picking out an Amuse Society top or suit. I can tell you from personal experience, just having it in your closet helps.
