It's no secret that I love West Elm. My beautiful tufted headboard is from there, my shining silver night table, my ombre living room rug and countless serving pieces, table cloths and place mats.
In January I shared with you my in-store discovery of their awesome Valentine's Day gifts (see that here if you missed it) and now I am thrilled to share with you a Valentine's Day themed event the West Elm crew is hosting at their Fenway location on Brookline Avenue.
One week from today on Tuesday, February 11th, West Elm will try to set the world record for the longest paper heart chain. How cute is that? The event is called Craft a Work of Heart.
Things will kick off at 6:00pm and you will be able to join the fun up until 8:00pm. For each paper heart made, West Elm will donate $1 to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Once the paper chain is complete, it will actually be sent to St. Jude in Memphis, TN to decorate the hospital for Valentine's Day. I get a little choked up just thinking about that.
