Holiday Gift Guide: For Her

Last year on my first day back to work after New Years I was catching up with a coworker about our holiday vacations. She was telling me all the great gifts she received for Christmas and confessed, "Mol, I was shocked that Pop.Bop.Shop. doesn't have a holiday gift guide. I kept waiting for you to post one and it just never happened."

I felt like I'd been hit with a ton of bricks. I love shopping, I love the holiday season, how had I not thought to do a gift guide?

It was in that very moment that I resolved to deliver you, my fabulous readers, a holiday gift guide for 2013. For the past month I have been searching high and low for gifts that you would both love to give and to receive.

Without further ado, we kick off the first annual Pop.Bop.Shop. Holiday Gift Guide with Gifts for Her.

I love these initial earrings from Sugar Bean Jewelry ($49.95). They are personal and have just the right amount of holiday season bling. They come in both gold and silver.

While on the subject of bling, I can't resist the Duo Glitz Cone Cuff from Bauble Bar ($38.00). The rose gold color is my favorite, but it also comes in gold, silver and black. These make a great holiday party accessory and can dress up a New Years Eve outfit.

For years now a group of cousins on my mom's side of the family have been doing Secret Santa for the holidays. Rather than buy the whole family individual gifts, we each focus on one person. About three years ago my cousin picked my name from the hat and she got me this Makeup Academy Blockbuster set from Sephora ($49.50). I kid you not when I say it was one of the best gifts I've ever received. It has 72 eyeshadow colors!

Speaking of makeup, the last time I was in New York City I stumbled upon a craft fair in Chelsea Market. One of the vendors was Pamela Barsky, who makes awesome makeup bags ($16.50). I bought this one for myself, but she has countless witty expressions and they come in a variety of fonts.

I lost my breath when I first saw this envelope case on AHA Life ($98.00).

It comes in four colors and can be used as a laptop case or an oversized clutch for evening.

I could not believe my eyes when I found this ombre wool moto jacket at the GAP ($128.00). The GAP! When was the last time you found something fashionable there? I mean, really. I love the cut of this jacket and the surprise of the color fade from white to black.

This year many of my friends moved into new apartments or houses and I just love this gold metallic glassware set from West Elm as a gift for the newly nesting ($34.00). The design also comes in silver if the gold feels too flashy.

And there you have it, my picks for the best gifts for your best girls.

Come back tomorrow as the holiday gift guide shifts into the best gifts for him.
