On St. Patrick's Day I received an email from Jon and Anthony, the owners of B.Good, with a St. Patrick's day special - a free mint chocolate chip shake with the purchase of a burger, sandwich or salad. As I scrolled to the bottom of the email, I noticed a few "P.S." updates at the bottom of the message, one of which included an update on the B.Good marathon team.
Last year, a B.Good fan ran the entire Boston Marathon in a burger costume. This year, Jon and Anthony have had 10 burger costumes made for the members of their marathon team. How cute is this?
The B.Good marathon team is raising money to support Back on My Feet, a nonprofit organization that promotes self-sufficiency for the homeless by engaging them in running to build confidence, strength and self-esteem (according to the organization's website).
If you'll be on the sidelines of the Boston Marathon on Monday April 18th, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the B.good burgers!
