December is one of my favorite months of the year. I love the holiday season. The temperature starts to drop just to the point where you can see your breath in the morning and you can't touch your steering wheel without wearing gloves. Its also the time of year when we dress up, raise a glass and toast to the holidays and a great year to come.
I also love December because there are so many excuses to buy new dresses! The family dinners, the company holiday parties and of course, New Years Eve. One of my favorite websites, The Frisky, recently posted their top picks for holiday party dresses and I had to share a few that caught my eye.

You can't go wrong with a little black dress. I like the interesting neckline of this Mod Cloth dress and think it would be adorable paired with solid colored tights.
Lastly, this sequin dress from Forever 21 screams New Years Eve! I've already made arrangements to try it on this weekend!
