My office hosts a Yankee Swap each year the week before Christmas. Everyone looks forward to it - we put the yule log on the TV, pour wine, and let our competitive spirits run wild and free.
My team takes hunting for a great gift very seriously. Once they've made their selections, they've been known to mischievously wrap things to seem bigger or heavier than they actually are.
Our price limit is $15 dollars, but I know the $20 - $25 dollar range is more common. Today I'm sharing ideas to wow your co-workers with the most coveted gift in the swap.
In my office, everyone is a Hamilton fan. Many of us saw the show while it was in Boston, so I know people will flip for this shot glass set - one Alexander Hamilton, one Aaron Burr.
You'll need some water to recover from those shots, and this floral bottle is not only beautiful, but holds enough H2O to keep you hydrated.
Our whole team loves plants, so I know this snail planter would be a hit. It's currently on sale for $5.99, so you can get a whole snail family!
I'm obsessed with this black and white planter with a bold, red lip, and I know my co-workers will be too.
A few years ago my mom sent me a set of pencils that said "Girl Boss" on them. I love this set of pencils, each one wth a compliment on it. For example, "You're a total champ" or "You're fresher than lemonade."
If your co-worker's desk or cubicle could use a little brightening, this Rifle Paper Co. lemon calendar adds instant cheer.
Have you ever experienced a huge win at work and wished you could instantly pop a bottle of champagne? Well, now you can have the next best thing with this prosecco snow globe! I am 100 percent certain this would be the most stolen item at our swap.
Finally, these Claudia Pearson tote bags are perfect for hauling all your stuff (lunch + book + gym clothes) to and from the office every day. When I used to take the bus, I felt like a bag lady - I always had at least two bags in addition to my purse.
I hope today's guide helps you become the star of the swap!
