My friend Stephanie has a wild imagination. Every night she has crazy dreams which I am certain is due to her boundless creativity. During her waking hours she puts those brilliant thoughts and ideas on paper which has resulted in four books.
You may remember back in November of 2014 I hosted a brunch to celebrate the launch of Stephanie's third book, Kissing Frogs. Kissing Frogs is the first book in a four part series about the life of Elliott Roux, a twenty-something living in Boston. In that book Elliott tackles dating disasters (a suitor who admits on the first date that he likes to taser himself), friend fiascos (mascara tears in a bar) and cringe-worthy family drama.
The follow up to Kissing Frogs has just been released and it's called Fish in the Sea. You can buy it right here on Amazon.
For the release of Fish in the Sea, Stephanie shot the photography for the book's cover, as well as a completely new cover for Kissing Frogs. The tea cups featured in the cover art were Stephanie's great grandmother's.
Fish in the Sea finds us reunited with Elliott and friends (Alex, Shea and Morgan) as Elliott embarks on a steamy tryst with a waiter, Garcon. In addition to her saucy love life, Elliott, Alex and Shea have also partnered on a new business venture, a bookstore named after Elliott's grandmother.
In this second installment Morgan finds love with a Boston chef and Elliott finds herself attracted to not one, but two new men. These new prospects, Cam and Bauer, will have you wishing for a movie version of this book, stat!
