Grey's Anatomy: Night, Night, Tumor Baby

Last night's episode of "Grey's Anatomy" began with Dr. Herman as the narrator. Almost all episodes have Meredith's voice as the narrator, but she wasn't even in this episode.

The whole hour bounces back and forth between Amelia's lectures and Dr. Herman and Arizona's surgeries like a ping pong match.

Amelia spends most of the show giving a series of talks about how she plans to remove Dr. Herman's tumor, even though she isn't quite sure she can do it. In fact, she confides in Owen that she has always been "the other" Dr. Shepherd and this opportunity has her wondering if people are going to look at her and think, "They went with the wrong Dr. Shepherd." I was half expecting Derek just to show up, but he never did.

In her final speech, when she goes through step by step how she'll remove the mass, she concludes and smugly says, "Night, night, tumor baby."

In the last moments of the episode, Arizona helps Dr. Herman prep for her surgery and stays with her until they put her under in the OR. Of course, now I am panicked and I have to know, is she going to live?

In previews for next week, Amelia looks almost possessed as she begins the surgery and apparently Stephanie faints.

What do you think? Is Dr. Herman going to make it?
