When I was in my early twenties, I never understood the appeal of wine and cheese. I don't know when the switch flipped, but now, in my late twenties, wine and cheese turns me on more than most men I date.
Last fall I was treated to a surprise gift package from two girls I work with, full of goodies from California's Cowgirl Creamery (you can read about the unboxing here). That sample box cemented my love for really good cheese.
In today's installment of the Birthday Wish List series, we're talking about mailing someone that same incredible gift - world class cheese.
If you explore the "Buy Cheese" section of the Cowgirl Creamery website, you'll see the plethora of options for gifts. You can send one type of cheese, an assortment, or gift someone a cheese club membership.
Here's the gift box I received:
I like the idea of taking this type of gift one step further and also including a serving piece for the cheese. While exploring the possibilities, I discovered this amazing cheese and crackers serving board on Uncommon Goods (you know how I love that site).
How cute is the ampersand?
Have you ever received a delicious cheese delivery? Or a wine and cheese basket?
