If you've been reading this blog for a while, you know I have a major crush on Shake Shack. Not only do they have one of the best veggie options around for a burger joint, but they love cheese fries and share my obsession with frozen confections.
Speaking of icy cold treats, this month Shake Shack kicks off their 3rd Annual Great American Shake Sale. This whole month, those who donate $2 dollars or more to No Kid Hungry will receive a card for a complimentary, hand-spun shake, redeemable on your next visit. One hundred percent of the donations will benefit No Kid Hungry.
Free custard for a cause? Don't mind if I do.
If you're a Shack regular like me, then you are already familiar with their weekly Custard Calendar. For the Great American Shake Sale the flavors include:
- Caramel Praline Cake
- Lemon Meringue
- Buttery Sugar Cookie
- Oatmeal Creme Pie
- Banana Bread
- Chocolate Cheesecake
- Black & White Cookie

The sale is on through Saturday, May 31st. You can donate (and enjoy your free shake) at both the Chestnut Hill and the Harvard Square locations.
