Shop: Gold West Vintage

Earlier this week I was invited to attend the launch party of collector Lynn Armstrong's vintage jewelry business. Lynn is an interior designer, but has been collecting gold and silver baubles and tableware for years and decided to share her beautiful pieces through a new venture called Gold West Vintage.

On Monday evening a group of bloggers met with Lynn at The Clarendon in Copley Square. A long table was set up with rows of jewelry boxes, each displaying groups of Lynn's favorite pieces.

The very first display I noticed had two petit watches that I gravitated towards immediately.

I adore the tiny faces on these watches. The design and shape is so feminine.

I literally started jumping up and down when I saw all of Lynn's brightly colored cocktail rings. There were so many sizes and hues, and many that could easily be engagement rings.

The beautiful gold pieces continued with bracelets, necklaces, pins and more stunning rings.

In the final case at the far end of the table there was a necklace that caught my eye. At first I was just drawn to the multiple strands and the sliding pendant, but as I got closer, I noticed the pendant had a crown of diamonds!

Lynn saw me admiring the necklace and told me it's called the Greek embossed goddess slider necklace.

One of my best friends has become a devoted surfer and she has always loved the beach. When I saw this seashell cocktail ring I knew she would flip for it.

Of course I had to try it on to make sure.

Lynn was a wonderful hostess. Though you weren't able to purchase anything on site, Lynn did offer to provide details on any piece (stones, type of gold or silver, etc.) via email as well as any pricing information.

As we headed out the door, we were handed adorable brown paper bag goodie bags with chocolate treats, gifts from Skyy Vodka and a luxurious eye mask.

The next morning I woke up to discover I won the event's Instagram contest with this photo:

This bangle reminded me of one of my favorite bracelets from Kate Spade. Lynn commented on the picture, "Our Instagram winner is @mollygaller! She captured this artful shot of our Greek Key Gold Bangle! Molly will be getting one of our 14K gold charms." What a fun surprise!

If you are swooning over all these pieces the way I did, you can connect with Lynn in multiple ways. You can follow Gold West Vintage on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, or you can contact her directly through her website. I was able to meet her photographer at the event and every single photo of the pieces on the site is detailed and gives you a very accurate feel for the piece.

Thanks again to Lynn and her team for a bling-tastic evening!
