Grey's Anatomy: Three Weeks Later

Tonight Grey's Anatomy returned after what felt like an eternity! Am I right? I think one word sums it up, "Finally!"

When we were last in Seattle, Jackson poured his heart out to April right in the middle of her wedding ceremony to Matthew.

When the show resumed tonight, Kepner was in a getaway car with Jackson, leaving the wedding. I wasn't sure she would choose him, but then again, who can deny the Hotness Monster?

This hour Arizona and Callie were also seeking a happy ending by buying a new home together. I really do like them together, so I hope they are onto greener pastures.

Meredith and Derek are fighting like crazy as he considers a job with the White House. I would care about their relationship turmoil if I wasn't so distracted by how delicious Derek looked in that slim fitting suit. McDreamy, indeed.

Tonight Alex had a violent fist fight with Shane (which reminded me of season one Alex), got in a screaming match with Jo and finally said goodbye to his father. I always feel so badly for Alex. Just when he starts to let go of the tough guy act, life slaps him across the face. We're talking 10 seasons in a row.

I can't talk about tonight's episode without mentioning the hideous cat man. What was the point of that story line? Oh man. I couldn't look at him for more than a few seconds at a time. I grimaced when he said, "The cat man gets more than his share of tail." Ick!

In the final scene of the hour it seems we are supposed to believe that Jackson and Kepner got married. I'm not sure how I feel about that and the way that was revealed. Also, her wedding band (if that's what it is) is practically invisible.

In previews for next week our whole gang's world is turned upside down by the new "no relationships at work" policy. On call room, anyone?
