The 2014 Grammy Awards: Best Dressed

As you know, I live for awards season. Tonight I wasn't able to enjoy my usual red carpet and awards telecast ritual for the Grammy Awards, as I was at the Fort Lauderdale airport from 6:00 - 8:00pm, then trapped on a plane for three hours. Woof!

Thanks to the power of technology, I will watch the show in all its glory tomorrow night after work. Thanks to the power of Just Jared, I can still share with you my picks for the best dressed! Without further ado . . .

BEST DRESSED

Taylor Swift - I would like to give Taylor Swift a standing ovation for not one, but two, outstanding outfit choices tonight. Her red carpet dress, a glittering Gucci, fit her like a glove. I love the embellishments at the waist, neckline and sleeves. The styling of the teased pony tail paired with the smokey eye make up is a total home run.

I flipped for her ethereal dress worn during her on-stage performance. The sequin details are stunning and don't get me started on that billowy train.

John Legend and Chrissy Teigen - I suppose it's easy to look like a million bucks when your wife is a model, but John Legend brought his A game tonight. Looking sharp in a Gucci tuxedo, he proudly stood alongside his wife, who looked like a Grammy statue herself in a gold Johanna Johnson gown.

Miranda Lambert - I hate country music, but this lipstick red Pamella Roland gown on Miranda Lambert is gorgeous. Everything about this look is beautiful - the cut of the dress, the classic Hollywood waves in her hair and of course, the jewels.

Beyonce - Naturally Queen B makes my list. Though I wish I couldn't see her dark roots emerging from her bleach blond hair color, this peek-a-boo white Michael Costello dress is amazing.

And it's backless! And Bootylicious!

Julia Roberts - At the Golden Globes, her dress was a disaster (remember the men's dress shirt beneath the strapless gown?) and her raspberry jumpsuit at the SAG Awards left me puzzled, but tonight, Julia Roberts finally brought it in a short, flirty, black dress by Elie Saab.

I hope this is a sign of a great choice to come for the Oscars!

There you have it, my favorites. Who were you loving on the Grammy red carpet tonight?
