Grey's Anatomy: The Revolution

This week's episode of "Grey's Anatomy" was narrated by Alex, which was a total shock! We normally hear Meredith's voice at the start of every episode.

The show starts out with Alex being chased by a photographer. She was hired by Alana (the efficiency expert) to merchandise the work being done at the hospital. Alex later discovers they are photographing Jackson as well (duh).

Very curious about what their buyers are like, Callie and the chief head to a nearby hospital owned by Pegasus to pose as patients. They name themselves Mr. and Mrs. Julio Plantain. Too good!

Later on they cozy up to a group of doctors, posing as Pegasus reps, to ask how everything is going since the take over. The doctors unload about terrible it is working there. Surprise, surprise.

Back in Seattle, Kepner is having an awkward date with Matthew, the EMT, when he gets a call. He invites Kepner to ride along and of course her face lights up. After seeing the young patient, Kepner calls Jackson and asks him to secretly set up the ER again to receive this patient.

Jackson creates the faux ER and brings in all the interns, Meredith and Cristina. Meredith then pages Derek to provide the drugs.

While they are secretly operating, Alana is giving the buyers a tour of the hospital. Our gang has to rush their patient to another space so she doesn't find them breaking the rules. I loved the moment where Alana steps on the fresh drops of blood. Such suspense!

Alana does eventually find them and when she asks about the patient, Meredith deletes the file "by accident" from the iPad Alana makes them use. Well played, Grey.

At the end of the episode, Matthew (the EMT) tells Kepner he thinks she is amazing. She rewards his flattery with a kiss, which Jackson happens to see on his way out. Jackson totally still loves her.

Meanwhile, Jo takes Karev into a supply closet to celebrate their great day with powdered donuts she stole from the nurses station. You see Alex having the moment where he is thinking about kissing her. It's totally nonverbal, but 100% obvious.

Owen finds Cristina in the on call room and tells her, "You guys are killing me." I hate that they are legally divorced now.

At the close of the hour, Callie brings Derek, Meredith and Arizona up to the roof of the building to suggest a way out of this Pegasus mess, "Let's buy the hospital ourselves." Oooooo, interesting!

In previews for next week, Alana threatens to close down the hospital all together and it appears Derek gives his resignation.

What I really want to know is, who is rooting for Jo and Karev to move out of the friend zone?
