Grey's Anatomy: The Settlement

Tonight on "Grey's Anatomy" our gang is presented with a settlement offer from the plane crash. Each person is dealing with the offer in their own way. In the first few minutes of the episode we see Derek and Meredith lying in bed talking about the money and Derek asks Meredith, "Do you want to sleep with the lights on or off tonight?" Why does Meredith need to sleep with the lights on?

Owen gives word of the settlement to Cristina over the phone and for most of the episode it seems like they might be mending their relationship. Cristina and Meredith continue to video chat, which I find adorable and so typically them. Cristina also bonds with her new colleague (Mr. Feeny) and discovers they are both plane crash survivors.

Callie tries get Arizona to snap out of her bad attitude and have an opinion about the settlement. I am getting really tired of nasty Arizona. This is not a good look.

Derek is restless and seeks out more information about the crash. He gets a security guard to let him in to see the evidence. He has horrible flashbacks while walking through the wreckage. You know right then he isn't going to take the money. He wants justice.

Unrelated to the crash, Kepner returns to the Seattle Grace. She declares to Jackson that she is "re-virginizing." Jackson is disturbed by this and oddly, he decides to basically propose marriage to her.

In one of the final scenes of the show Bailey admits to being on edge because her ex husband is getting remarried. Awwww. But she has hot Ben!

In previews for next week we see that Kepner and Jackson are back at it and that Cristina has found a new lover! Interesting! We also see that Arizona is trying to learn to walk with her new prosthetic leg. Perhaps she'll have a breakthrough moment. Finally.
