New York Fashion Week: Diane Von Furstenberg And Jenny Packham

When it comes to fashion and style, I'm a dress girl. When it comes to dresses, there is one name every girl knows: Diane Von Furstenberg.

DVF's fall 2012 collection had two pieces that really stood out to me. The first was a cherry red number with an embellished collar:

The second dress was a bright, watermelon color with an exposed shoulder.

These two dresses are exactly what Brad Goreski means when he says, "Pop of color!"

Next up, adding to my dress obsession, was Jenny Packham. Packham has only recently been on my radar because of all the stars wearing her designs on the red carpet this season.

I first noticed her sweet, white and black dress.

The black belting continued with this nude, floor length gown:

What could be more fitting for the Oscar red carpet than this gold, sequin gown? I hope one of the celebrity stylists is smart enough to scoop up this shimmering beauty!
