New York Fashion Week: Catherine Malandrino, Karen Walker And Tory Burch

I've been having a blast getting lost in the beauty of New York Fashion Week. Though each designer presents anywhere from 20 - 50 looks per collection, sometimes there are just a hand full of pieces that stand out to me within a collection.

For example, with designer Catherine Malandrino, I was attracted to four of the looks from her presentation, staring with this black and white outfit (are you sensing a trend?) that channeled David Bowie:

I adore this white, strapless, party dress which would be perfect for a wedding rehearsal dinner. Notice how it's styled with blue shoes!

I really dig this red coat with it's black and gold collar. It feels very futuristic.

This dress feels like something J.Lo would wear to an industry party:

All of Malandrino's looks were simple, but super fierce.

The simplicity continued with designer Karen Walker. I really love this charcoal gray, flirty dress:

The same pattern also comes in a suit:

With a colored pump I'd be all over this ruffle collar, black dress:

Who needs color when you have impeccable tailoring?

Designer Tory Burch had one look in particular that grabbed my attention and not because it was brightly colored or had an outrageous design. This white coat, cinched at the waist with a feminine bow is simple, but stunning. I'd like it delivered to my door immediately!

Which designers are grabbing your attention?
