Gossip Girl: Truths Revealed

This hour of Gossip Girl for me was all about the Ivy/Charlie/Lola meltdown! Finally the sh*t hit the fan!

Lola has been chasing Nate and using him to find out more details about Ivy. Ivy winds up calling Carol to let her know Lola is not at Michigan, but in New York City at Julliard.

Once Lola arrives at the hospital and puts all the pieces together she is enraged that her mother hid her from the Van der Woodsens (as if that's even possible) and tells her mother she is done with her. Damnnnnnn!

To lick her wounds, Lola asks Nate if she can spend the night with him. Oh boy.

Across the isle of Manhattan Chuck is faux pursuing Dan's publicist to distract her and screw over Dan. Oh girl, you are such a fool.

At Blair's urging, Chuck does right by Dan. Soon after, Gossip Girl sends Chuck a little email with a big slap across the face. At last, it is revealed! Dan sent the pre-wedding video of Blair confessing her love for Chuck to Gossip Girl. I am already preparing for Chuck's retaliation.

I have to admit, I'm not really rooting for this budding Blair and Dan romance. First they demonstrate their platonic kiss for Lola as she rehearses (which turns out not to be platonic at all) and then Dan firmly announces, "I don't want to be your friend, Blair."

During her participation in the Upright Citizen Brigade's reading of "Inside" Blair has a revelation about her feelings for Dan. Later at the hospital she actually kisses Dan goodbye like a person would kiss her boyfriend. Hmm. Is she now going to pursue Dan?

At the end of the episode, surrounded by her feuding family, Cee Cee passes away. I can only imagine the fighting that is about to ensue over her cash money.

In the final ten seconds of the episode Ivy is standing alone, looking out over the Manhattan sky line, and pulls out a napkin with Georgina's phone number on it. Really, Ivy? You idiot.

In previews for next week, Georgina is back to stir things up. Here we go, again.
