Gossip Girl: Chucking With My Head

Ok, I have been saying since her first moment on screen that I hate Elizabeth Hurley's character Diana. Tonight's episode pushed me over the edge. All of her meddling with Nate, Charlie/Ivy and Serena was ridiculous and then we find out she's in cahoots with Nate's grandfather? That doesn't even make sense!

When Charlie/Ivy's boyfriend Max showed up and met Serena my first thought was, "oh please let them hook up!" Now that is a plot twist I'd support.

This hour Dan brought pathetic to a whole new level by complaining about this book tour. Really, Dan? You are almost as annoying as Vanessa.

Blair and Chuck were back at center stage this episode. I loved when they ran into each other at the park and Blair said, "Our treaty of 2010 clearly states that the duck pond is my domain!" Ha! I also loved that Blair made a Venn diagram of old Chuck vs. new Chuck. The best moment of their sparring tonight was when Blair described him to Dorota as "Chucking with my head." I was surprised to learn toward the end of the episode that Dorota asked for Chuck's help in convincing Blair she's meant to be with Louis. Interesting duo.

In previews for next week it looks like we're attending Blair's bridal shower! This should prove to be a circus.
